Circle of Peace
Golden and white acrylic on art board (16x20) |
|
The circular center symbolizes eternity. A delicate acrylic chain in a tranquil turquoise color surrounds the “Light upon Light” to gracefully protect the omnipotent Arabic calligraphy in the Naskh style. From the core of “Light”, gouache and acrylic shy pink flowers sway gracefully on sweeping vines and delicate leaves find themselves next to tiny white flowers that are blushing bashfully with their tiny red centers, calling for attention. The bold pink and blue flowers take center stage in the warmth of the golden illumination or tezhip as known in Turkey. Everything is surrounded by a sea of royal blue, signifying power and strength. Rays of light spread out to fill the world!
